- Both list a 127 × 127 × 50 mm enclosure. The Pro model therefore does not require a larger listed desk footprint in this particular generation.
- M4 lists three rear Thunderbolt 4 ports; M4 Pro lists three rear Thunderbolt 5 ports. Check the protocol supported by the actual dock, storage device and cable before expecting a benefit from the newer port standard.
